The Synod offers training for General Assembly commissioners and YADs and anyone going to General Assembly is welcome to attend as well. The new electronic reading system, "PC-biz" will be demonstrated and training provided in its use. A general orientation covering how GA works and what issues are before the 218th GA will also be offered. Attendees may choose to attend all or part of the day's agenda. Registration for this event has closed; please to see if there is still space available.

Committee on Cross-Presbytery Ministries to hold third meeting

The Committee on Cross-Presbytery Ministries will continue its organization process on Saturday, September 6 2008 at the Synod office. Members of the Committee will be notified of additional meeting particulars via e-mail. Please the if you have questions.

FYI: The Synod Office has moved!

The Synod office address is now 3325 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 850, Los Angeles CA. The building is between Normandie and Vermont Avenues, near the corner of South Catalina Street. A Metro stop is nearby (about 4 blocks) and there is bus service in the area. The directions page provides driving/metro transportation links.
