Cross-Presbytery Ministries

"The Committee on Cross-Presbytery Ministries (CCPM) has the responsibility to develop and support a broad strategy for mission and ministry across the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii, coordinating and providing oversight of ministries that cross presbytery borders. This will include making recommendations for use of church development funds and restricted and designated funds for mission and ministry. The Committee has the authority to create committees and task forces to assist in carrying out its responsibilities.

The Committee has primary responsibility for:

Church Development/Redevelopment Funds
Restricted/Designated Funds for Mission and Ministry
Racial, Ethnic and Justice Ministries
Emerging Mission and Ministry Issues
Affinity Group Ministries"

Pages will be developed for these ministries as needed.

At their request, REPL (Racial Ethnic Pastoral Leadership has asked to work as a part of the Cross-Presbytery Ministries.

The Committee on Cross-Presbytery Ministries will hold its next meeting on Saturday, May 3 2008 at the Synod office, beginning at 9:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm. After that, you may log onto the page, using the password that was distributed at the March 8 meeting (it was on the whiteboard).
